shrine ridge hike





Shrine Ridge is located 2 miles south of Vail Pass. It is one of the

most scenic wildflower location in Colorado. It is a 5.2 mile roundtrip

hike with an elevation change of 678'. This was done on July 14, 2025.


Prior Shrine Ridge Hikes

Our hike starts in a meadow.



The entire hike is below
tree line.



We are surrounded by mountains.



The wild flowers become more numerous as we proceed.

grow larger.



The highest mountain is
Holy Cross Mountain.
