QUEEN ELIZABETH CRUISE SHIP





The Queen Elizabeth cruise ship is owned by the Cunard line. Cunard caters to people from Great Britain. The men wear tuxes and the women wear floor length gowns on gala dinner events. It is required. The ship also has afternoon English Teas. Another formal event. But on this cruise the English and Americans were the minority. It was mostly, at least half, were Japanese. Ship statistics: Passengers: 2092 guests, length 964', width 106', speed 27 mph. The ship was commissioned in Oct. 2010.

The Queen Elizebeth heads back to Tokyo.



We arrive at Tokyo to a clear blue sky.



With a telescopic we get a beautiful photo of Mt. Fuji.



Everything comes into place for a perfect photo.



The ships crew begins the task of securing the ship to the dock. A small rope is tossed to them.

The coordinates for Tokyo are 4 degrees or 268 miles south of Denver's latitude. Note the speed.



Nagasaki was 587 miles southwest of Tokyo and 172 miles east of Busan. The distances are close. The ship never went over 13 mph.
