On May 13, 2024 we hiked Mt Herman west of Monument.

The hike was 3.3 miles and went from 8,168'' to 9,046' for a vertical rise of 868'.

We had a perfect view of snow covered Pikes Peak.

The elevation at the trailhead was 8,168'.

There were many boulders
along the trail.
