NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MILITARY VEHICLES





On August 3rd, 2023 we went to Debois, Wyoming to see the National Museum of Military Vehicles. The museum opened in May of 2022. It cost over $100 million all totally paid by private people. It is a wonderful museum.

At the entrance is a vault with close to a thousand rifles from the Revolutionary war to the Vietnam war.

Tank equipped with anti-aircraft guns. Also deadly in city fighting against enemy hiding in buildings.



The Korean war started in June 1950 when North Korea attacked South Korea. The North drove the South to the Pusan Perimeter.



The allies drove North Korea back to the Yalu River. Then China came into the war with tens of thousands of troops. In the first winter many allies froze to death.



The Chinese and the US allies fought back and forth with Seoul changing hands 4 times. For the next 3 years the war stalemated around the 38th parallel.

The helicopter was used to deliver men and supplies to the field as well as evacuate wounded.



The copter pilot was a prime target and many got shot down.
