Fall Drive to Maroon Bells

The last weekend in September the Aspen leaves are at their best color. In September 2021 we visited the Maroon Bells by Aspen, Colorado. For comparison a photo from 2008 is every third photo.

You have to take a bus to see the Maroon Bells. The first thing you see in getting off the bus is the restrooms.

The next view is of the Maroon Lake and the mountains, the Maroon Bells. Unfortunatly the lake was very low due to drought.
