The reservoir

The reservoir from the trail.

Tim Briese leads the way up a treacherous route to the summit.

Getting to the summit of the Dome Rock required overcoming some tough spots.

The toughest boulder was a straight vertical rock with over a 6' climb.

The view is spectacular.

On the summit at 8,560'.

A twisted tree growing out of a rock.

We head down.

Another huge boulder to climb on another day.

It has at least a 1000' dropoff to a canyon below.

Another 2 hours and we could have done it today.

A giant fissure in the boulder on our way down.

For the most part there was no trail.
Here we made use of this boulder.

We come across another twisted tree. What could cause this?

A look back at a rock pinnacle.

The only real amount of wildflowers was this type. The drought is having a severe affect this year on the wildflowers!

Back to the trail we came up we again see the reservoir.
