Casper is a city of 59,000 people located nearly in the center of Wyoming. It is located on the North Platte river which flows north from the mountains north of Denver and at Casper turns south to North Platte, Nebraska. Casper is known as the oil city as the area has considerable oil.



Casper has many wonderful sculptures.



This one depicts the early inhabitants.



Indian chiefs are honored.
